We're Moving!!!

We're NOT giving up on our cartoon drawing project....just MOVING!

We're giving the blog a new name and a wider focus! Because I couldn't figure out how to re-name this Blogger Blog....we moving to a NEW Blogger Blog! ;-) This will be the last post here...all existing content is in the process of being moved to http://toon-time.blogspot.com/.

In addition to the EggToon tutorials using Paint Shop Pro, we'll be adding GIF animation tutorials (Animation Shop) and cartoon drawing and animating with Anime Studio (export as GIF, movie or Flash with sound). What version of Paint Shop Photo Pro do we use?

These tutorials will be written for Paint Shop Photo Pro X2 (version 12). If you are using a different version, you should be able to follow along as long as it's PSP 7 or newer. If you have a problem finding tools or any other questions, please leave a comment and we'll try to answer.

These tutorials will run in sequence, from easy beginnings to more advanced. If you're new to vectors, it'd be best to review the Beginner Basics for tool tips and explanation of some vector terminology.

If you're a user of Photoshop or Gimp (or other vector software), you're welcome to join in but we hope you're more familiar with your programs vector tools than we are! ;-)
